Reflection Latina types

You have skin tones ranging from dark beige to olive or you are very tanned skin. Your hair and eye colour ranges from hazel to chocolate. You are brunette!

Make up colours in warm earth tones suit brunettes particularly well. You are especially suited to eye colours in brown, gold, copper and olive.

On your lips, try luscious peach tones or shimmering caramel. If you want to glam it up a yellow-toned red shows off your mouth perfectly.

For your cheeks, a true bronzer brings out the golden undertones of your skin type. A coral-coloured blush, (favourite to Hollywood star Eva Longoria) looks great for the summer.

woman feet Exfoliate…
An evening shower is an ideal opportunity to exfoliate. The morning is always a rush so enjoy your ‘me’ time by locking everyone else out and taking your time for a change (that’s only really doable in the evening)! When you shower, dead skin, including rough skin on the knees and heels can be gently removed. Your skin will feel lovely, smooth and soft afterward. There are numerous body scrubs out there – of course I have my favourite (because it smells amazing and it lasts forever). Email to find out more about it if you wish!

Moisturise
Exfoliation is the ideal preparation for further skincare routines, such as moisturiser or self-tanning products. Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. That’s the key to glowing skin!

Say no to prickly legs!
It should NOT be an afterthought! Pay attention to these little details and they won’t take as long and you’ll feel a million dollars. The sun is hear and it’s time to flash some flesh and enjoy little skirts and shorts. So not a a hair in sight please! There are lots of hair removal products available (razors, exfoliating tools, hair removal creams, hot or cold wax solutions…)

Since we all live extremely busy lives I’ll opt for shaving – quick and easy…  And it won’t grow back thicker – that’s just a myth.  Your hair just looks thicker because they have been cut in the middle rather than removed at the root.

Shaving tips

  • Shave after or during a bath or shower – it’s just easier and better for the skin.
  • Use a shaving foam – the razor slides over the skin surface better, leaving less chance of skin irritation. (I actually use men’s shaving foam – I don’t see the point of buying pink and a blue when the blue one works just the same!
  • For best results rinse the razor-head with warm water after each stroke. (Yes it will take longer and it’s a little bit fiddle but you’ll get better results)!
  • Prevent dry skin forming by applying a moisturiser.

That’s it for today!
